My name is Myrna — I pronounce my name as “Mer-na.” However, I don’t mind the other variations I hear. Sometimes, the different pronunciations tell me what part of the world someone is from.
I am a Los Angeles-based creative who develops visual responses to narratives. I capture these stories through innovative and contemporary design. I design in real time about cultural movements and leading-edge research. I also gravitate towards work that advocates and centers equity for all.
I have produced editorial, visual styles, website designs, brand identity systems, and data visualizations, and developed events for several institutions and community-based organizations. My work focuses on visual communications, storytelling, and accessibility.
Additionally, working in a team-based environment is exciting and essential to me. Collaborating with diverse perspectives is an opportunity for growth and a valuable component of producing successful and beautiful projects.
